(5MinNewsBreak.com) – Former Trump strategist and self-proclaimed “populist nationalist” and “very anti-oligarch” Steve Bannon has issued a stark warning to MAGA Republicans: beware of tech billionaires.
In a bold prediction, Bannon claims these powerful figures will eventually abandon the Republican Party, just as they did with Democrats.
Bannon’s warning specifically targets tech giants like Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg, and Jeff Bezos.
He argues that these billionaires are not true MAGA supporters but are merely aligning with President Donald Trump temporarily due to political calculations.
“They seek power,” Bannon declared, “Right now, their feeling is they can see the math and they see that we have a built-in coalition. So they’re with us…but only temporarily.”
The former White House chief strategist did not mince words when it came to Elon Musk, calling him a “parasitic illegal immigrant” and questioning his commitment to the MAGA movement.
Although President Trump himself appointed Musk to lead the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), Bannon remains skeptical of the tech mogul’s true intentions.
Bannon’s criticisms extend beyond Musk to other tech billionaires. “I’m very anti-oligarch,” he stated.
“There’s certain things about the oligarchs, not just Elon, but also the oligarchs that, you know, the Bezos and Zuckerberg, particularly, all these guys don’t support us,” he continued.
“And people have to understand, and CNN audience ought to understand, they don’t support MAGA.” Bannon added. “And they don’t want the concentration of power.”
The former strategist remarked, “And by the way, those oligarchs… they’ve abandoned the progressive left. They will abandon us. And the same thing. They seek power.”
“Right now, their feeling is they can see the math and they see that we have a built-in coalition. So, they’re with us, but only temporarily,” Bannon concluded.
This warning comes at a crucial time for the Republican Party, as it navigates its relationship with influential tech leaders.
President Trump has publicly stated that Musk operates with White House approval and would not be involved in any problematic situations.
However, Bannon’s comments suggest a growing rift within the MAGA movement over the role of these powerful figures.
Bannon’s skepticism is not unfounded. He pointed to the transactional nature of these relationships and urged Republicans to consider the potential volatility of relying on elite endorsements.
“So we will break all these guys eventually. They are broken right now,” Bannon declared, hinting at a future where the MAGA movement stands independent of billionaire influence.
As the 2026 midterms approach, Bannon’s warning serves as a rallying cry for the MAGA base to remain vigilant and not be swayed by the temporary alliances of convenience with tech billionaires.
He suggests the movement’s true strength lies in its grassroots support and unwavering commitment to America First principles.
