Barron Trump Pulls Out

( – Barron Trump, the youngest son of former President Donald Trump, has reportedly turned down the opportunity to serve as an at-large delegate for Florida at the Republican National Convention,

At 18 years old, Barron was selected by the Republican Party of Florida to make his inaugural entry into politics ahead of his high school graduation on May 17.

However, according to a statement from a spokesperson for Melania Trump, Barron will not accept the delegate position due to prior commitments, The Daily Caller reports.

“While Barron is honored to have been chosen as a delegate by the Florida Republican Party, he regretfully declines to participate due to prior commitments,” the spokesperson stated.

Additionally, the convention also nominated his older half-brothers, Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, along with his half-sister Tiffany and sister-in-law Kimberly Guilfoyle, as reported by NBC News.

Meanwhile, Barron’s father has received permission to attend his son’s graduation amidst the ongoing hush money trial led by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The former president faces 34 charges of falsifying business records to conceal a payment of $130,000 to Stormy Daniels, a former adult film actress.

In a recent interview, Donald Trump revealed that Barron has cultivated a keen interest in politics and occasionally advises him.

Trump described his son during an interview with “Kayal and Company” on Philadelphia’s Talk Radio 1210 WPHT.

“He’s seen it. He doesn’t have to hear. He is a smart one. He doesn’t have to hear much. But he’s, he’s a great guy,” the former president said.

“He’s a little on the tall side. I will tell you, he’s a tall one, but he is a good-looking guy.” Trump further commented.

“And he’s really been a great student. And he does like politics. It’s sort of funny. He’ll tell me sometimes, ‘Dad, this is what you have to do,’” he added.

Despite being the subject of curiosity, especially within left-wing circles, the 18-year-old has generally maintained a low profile.

Nevertheless, The Daily Beast recently published a piece, prompted by chief content creator Joanna Coles based on a single source, claiming that Barron plans to attend New York University (NYU).
