VIDEO: Ben & Jerry’s Co-Founder ARRESTED at RFK Jr. Hearing

Metal handcuffs on a dark textured surface.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s testimony resulted in an unintended yet much-deserved outcome: the arrest of Ben & Jerry’s co-founder.

Watch the video down below.

The incident occurred when Radical ice cream mogul Ben Cohen disrupted a critical Senate hearing with anti-American, anti-Israeli rhetoric before being dragged away by Capitol Police.

The Ben & Jerry’s co-founder and six other leftist protesters interrupted Kennedy with accusations about Gaza while attempting to derail the secretary’s “Make America Healthy Again” initiative.

Cohen, whose company has long embraced far-left causes, stood up during the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee hearing.

He shouted accusations against Congress before being forcibly removed from the chamber.

“Congress sent the bombs that kill children in Gaza and pays it with cuts to Medicaid,” Cohen was heard saying.

The 73-year-old activist and his fellow protesters were charged with Crowding, Obstructing, and Incommoding, a misdemeanor offense.

Additionally, some of them face other charges of resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer.

Senate HELP Committee Chairman Senator Bill Cassidy was forced to pause the hearing and order Capitol Police to remove the disruptive elements.

“Members of the audience are reminded disruptions will not be permitted while the committee conducts its business. Capitol Police are asked to remove the individuals from the hearing room,” the senator said.

In response to the chaos, Cassidy quipped, “That was a made-for-C-SPAN moment,” highlighting the orchestrated nature of the protest.

This is not Cohen’s first run-in with the law. The ice cream mogul was previously arrested in 2023 for protesting outside the Department of Homeland Security.

He also has a history of using his business platform to push progressive politics.

In 2021, Ben & Jerry’s made the controversial decision to stop selling products in the West Bank, referring to it as “Occupied Palestinian Territory,” which outraged pro-Israel Americans.

While Cohen attempted to hijack the hearing with anti-American rhetoric, Kennedy remained focused on his MAHA initiative, which Republican members of the committee strongly supported.

Kennedy’s appointment has been fiercely opposed by 87 leftist groups, showing just how threatening his healthcare approaches are to the liberal establishment.

The hearing descended further into chaos as protesters chanted “RFK kills people with hate!”

Capitol Police swiftly removed the agitators, allowing the important governmental business to continue despite the coordinated disruption.

Ben & Jerry’s has maintained its radical political activism even after being sold to Unilever in 2000.

The company recently filed a lawsuit against its parent corporation, alleging interference with its activism.

Cohen has also joined forces with “Squad” member Rep. Rashida Tlaib in criticizing U.S. support for Israel.
