Biden Blames Netanyahu for THIS?!

BENJAMIN NETANYAHU / JOE BIDEN

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – Putting the blame on the wrong side, Joe Biden openly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for allegedly not doing more to secure the release of hostages held by Hamas.

Speaking to reporters outside the White House, Biden expressed frustration with the ongoing cease-fire negotiations.

A reporter asked Biden directly if he thought Netanyahu was “doing enough,” to which Biden simply responded, “No.”

The tension grew after Hamas recently killed six hostages, including 23-year-old Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin.

The young man’s story had captured international attention, particularly after his parents made an emotional appeal at the Democrat convention for his and other hostages’ release.

Goldberg-Polin was among those taken at the Nova music festival during a mass civilian attack by Hamas, where his left arm was blown off by a grenade.

The Israeli Defense Forces later discovered the bodies of the six hostages in a tunnel in Rafah.

Although the U.S. advised against it, Israel had earlier launched a military offensive in Rafah, a strategic move not supported by the Biden administration.

In response to Goldberg-Polin’s death and the ongoing hostage situation, Biden declared, “I have worked tirelessly to bring their beloved Hersh safely to them and am heartbroken by the news of his death.”

“It is as tragic as it is reprehensible. Make no mistake, Hamas leaders will pay for these crimes. And we will keep working around the clock for a deal to secure the release of the remaining hostages,” Biden added.

In Israel, public dissatisfaction with how negotiations have been handled was evident.

Citizens protested in mass in Tel Aviv to demand a resolution and criticize Netanyahu’s leadership.

Additionally, a significant labor strike temporarily closed schools and businesses, indicating widespread unrest.

In his address following the discovery of the deceased hostages, Netanyahu blamed Hamas for the stalled talks.

He stated that the militant group had rejected cease-fire proposals backed by the U.S., Egypt, and Qatar and assured the public of Israel’s ongoing efforts to secure a deal.

On the flip side, Hamas has pointed the finger at Israel for the deadlock and vowed retaliation following the death of its political leader Ismail Haniyeh in July.
