Speaking before a crowd that included vice presidential nominee Tim Walz, Nancy Pelosi and Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro, Clinton hinted that he might skip future Democrat conventions.
Clinton openly contemplated his own aging process, saying, “I want to say this from the bottom of my heart, I have no idea how many more of these I’ll be able to come to. I started in ’76 and I’ve been [to] every one since — no, ’72. Lord, I’m getting old.”
Online viewers expressed their concern on X over Clinton’s appearance and energy levels.

The former president took the opportunity to praise Joe Biden for “voluntarily” giving up “political power.”
He avoided direct mention of the internal party pressures Biden faced due to concerns over his physical and mental abilities.
“I want to thank him for his courage, compassion, his class, his service, his sacrifice,” Clinton said.
Clinton also sensed a palpable relief among Democrats, now free from Biden’s challenging poll numbers, stating party members felt “happy” as if “a load is off our shoulders.”
Addressing the presidential hopefuls, he spoke about Kamala Harris and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, celebrating their stories, though he struggled with the pronunciation of Harris’ first name.
Clinton made a playful comment about Harris, recalling her time working at McDonald’s—a point emphasized by other speakers including her husband, Doug Emhoff.
“I’ll be so happy when she actually enters the White House as president because she will break my record as the president who spent the most time at McDonald’s,” he joked.
In his criticism of the opposition, Clinton described Trump as self-centered and a “good actor.”
He also warned that the upcoming election could slip away if Democrats are not vigilant, reflecting on his wife Hillary Clinton’s loss in 2016.
