BOMBSHELL: CNN Agrees With GOP (Video)

( – Even the lamestream media agrees with the GOP’s demands for accountability, as CNN is enquiring about the unashamed tactics of Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ).

Watch the video below.

“The Lead with Jake Tapper” host Jake Tapper questioned Democratic Rep. Dan Goldman about the DOJ’s refusal to release audio recordings of Biden’s interviews with special counsel Robert Hur.

Tapper argued that there appears to be “really no basis” for withholding the audio even though the DOJ has provided a transcript. This issue prompted a House vote to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in contempt.

Tapper noted the historical context, saying, “Three of the last five attorneys general have been found in contempt of Congress.”

He cited past instances, such as when former Attorney General Bill Barr was also held in contempt by a Democratic-run Congress for withholding information.

Tapper expressed a broader concern:

“A citizen who doesn’t have a dog in the fight might say, ‘it seems to me as though the legislative branch is trying to do oversight of the executive branch and the executive branch keeps giving … whoever’s in charge of Congress, the executive branch consistently gives the finger to the House. I assume you don’t see it that way, but there is a consistency in these three contempt of Congress votes.”

Goldman acknowledged there was a recurrent nature of contempt charges but claimed out each case had different circumstances.

He argued that there was no legitimate reason for Bill Barr to withhold the unredacted Mueller report from Congress and emphasized that no sensitive information was at stake.

Tapper then countered, “But there’s really no basis for the Justice Department to not give the audio recordings to Congress either.”

Released in February, Robert Hur’s report dived into Biden’s mishandling of classified documents but did not recommend charges.

It highlighted moments where Biden seemed unclear about the timelines of his vice presidency and the passing of his son Beau Biden.

The report said that if Biden were to testify, he would portray himself as a “sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.”

In contrast, Democratic Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett said he was concerned that Republicans would potentially misuse the audio.

He claimed that the GOP aimed to distort the contents to mislead the public about Biden’s actions.
