(5MinNewsBreak.com) – Once adored as the teenage star of TV’s “Malcolm in the Middle,” Frankie Muniz is leaving the Hollywood spotlight to embrace the adrenaline-fueled world of NASCAR.

The 38-year-old former actor is set to join Reaume Brothers Racing and drive the No. 33 Ford F-150 in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series for the 2025 season.

“I don’t want to say it’s a long time coming, but this has been a dream of mine for forever,” Muniz stated.

Moreover, Muniz’s commitment to racing is evident in his recent performances. In 2023, he competed in the ARCA Menards Series, securing one top-five finish and 11 top-ten finishes, ending the season in an impressive fourth place.

“I want people to know that I’ve literally dedicated my life to this,” Muniz emphasized.

“When I’m not in the race car, I’m thinking about being in the race car. I’m training, I’m in the simulator at Ford. … I’m going to just be as prepared as humanly possible,” he added.

Team owner Josh Reaume expressed enthusiasm about Muniz joining the team full-time, stating, “We’re thrilled to welcome Frankie to our team full-time and to expand our relationship with Ford Performance.”

He continued, “Their support has been invaluable, and we believe that with Frankie’s passion and our collective momentum from this year, we can make significant strides in the upcoming season.”

In addition, fans can catch Muniz in action at the upcoming Truck Series race at Homestead-Miami Speedway, where he will continue to hone his skills and represent the values of perseverance and excellence that make American motorsports great.
