The Florida Republican confronted the mayors of Boston, Chicago, Denver, and New York during a heated House Oversight Committee hearing, accusing them of violating federal immigration laws that prohibit harboring illegal aliens.

Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson even declared: “Put simply, any actions which amplify fears of deportation make Chicago more dangerous.”
