Hamas Using Human Shields?

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – In a newly exposed abomination on part of the Palestinian Arab Islamist terrorist group Hamas, a report has disclosed that the organization’s leader, Yahya Sinwar, is using at least 15 hostages from those abducted during the October 7 terror attack as a “human shield.”

The leader of Hamas identified as a terrorist by American and Israeli officials, who orchestrated the severe attack on Israel on October 7, is using human shields, according to a report by The New York Times, cited by The Daily Wire.

The United States, Israel, and Egypt are exerting pressure on Hamas to free the remaining hostages, which include up to six Americans.

Sinwar is purportedly negotiating from a position behind a human barrier consisting of those whom Israeli forces are attempting to liberate, according to officials.

The negotiations between Hamas and Israel have been impeded by Sinwar’s actions, with sources indicating that “from his hiding space deep in the tunnels below Gaza” as his human shield of hostages “prevent[s] Israel from assassinating him.”

Former U.S. Army Vice Chief of Staff General Jack Keane shared with Sky News that Sinwar might be safeguarded by as many as 20 hostages, including his family.

“My sources tell me that Sinwar, who is the number one leader in Gaza of the Hamas organization, has 15-20 hostages protecting him and his family,” Keane said.

Further corroboration comes from U.S. officials who align with Israeli intelligence findings from February stating that Sinwar has been utilizing hostages as human shields.

This tactic was observed during Hamas’ October 7 onslaught, where numerous civilians and soldiers were abducted. The current status of many hostages remains uncertain.

Sinwar has previously affirmed the lethality of the October 7 assault, which resulted in 1,400 fatalities, calling it “just a rehearsal.”

Captured Hamas terrorists have disclosed that their leaders, including Sinwar, often seek refuge underneath hospitals in the Gaza Strip.

The strategy of using non-combatants as shields is not new among terrorist leaders.

A notable instance occurred in 2011 when Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden used women as human shields during the U.S. operation in Pakistan that ultimately led to his demise, with one of the women also being killed in the process.
