Hillary Clinton Fails – Again!

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – In a new failure for Democrat sore loser Hillary Clinton, the Broadway musical “Suffs,” produced by her and focused on the early 1900s suffragette movement, is struggling to attract audiences.

Despite significant backing, the production has not managed to fill its seats consistently, The Daily Wire informs in a report.

Co-produced by Clinton and Malala Yousafzai, “Suffs” ranked in the lower 23% of all 35 Broadway shows in audience capacity for the week ending May 5, as reported by Broadway League.com.

The official website of Broadway Theatre’s Industry noted that during that week, the musical reached only 81% capacity over eight shows.

The following week saw an even steeper decline, with attendance at just 78% of the available 7,784 seats, according to The New York Post.

Directed by Leigh Silverman and penned by singer-songwriter Shaina Taub, “Suffs” features production by Jill Furman and Rachel Sussman.

The musical, a recent addition to Broadway after opening last month, explores the surging women’s rights movement in America during 1913 through the eyes of the suffragists, dubbed “Suffs.”

The narrative spans nearly three hours and unfolds during a pivotal era when these women vigorously campaigned for voting rights.

“Reaching across and against generational, racial, and class divides, these brilliant, flawed women entertain and inspire us with the story of their hard-won victory in an ongoing fight,” the musical’s website states.

“So much has changed since the passing of the Nineteenth Amendment over a century ago, and yet we’re reminded sometimes we need to look back, in order to march fearlessly into the future,” it adds.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Clinton expressed a deep connection to the characters of the play.

“I know how important it is to have relationships with the people you’re working for, as you’re taking risks and you’re doing things that have never been done, whether it’s running for president in my case or having a march on Washington in 1913 to try to convince the president and the Congress to adopt the amendment to let women vote,” she remarked, referring to her 2016 presidential campaign.

Clinton also highlighted the play as “relevant to today. We have a lot of challenges in our country … I think having a play about voting in the election year could not be better timed.”

Daily Wire host Michael Knowles has slammed the musical on his podcast, noting its lackluster performance despite strong media support.
