JD Slams Liz Cheney

JD VANCE

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – Pulling no punches when discussing Republicans in Name Only, GOP vice-presidential nominee JD Vance harshly criticized Liz Cheney and John McCain’s son after they endorsed Kamala Harris for president.

The Ohio senator labeled them as “rejects from the Republican Party” who no longer wield influence within the GOP.

Vance remarked, “The fact that Kamala Harris has gotten a couple of rejects from the Republican Party who have no sway in our party anymore to endorse her, I think, speaks low of them and doesn’t say anything great about her campaign.”

Liz Cheney, a former Congresswoman from Wyoming and daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, has declared her support for Harris after labeling GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump a threat to democracy.

Cheney has been a vocal critic of Trump, particularly after he refused to accept the 2020 election results.

Lt. Jimmy McCain, son of the late Senator John McCain, also threw his support behind Harris and even registered as a Democrat.

He attributed his switch to Trump’s conduct at Arlington Cemetery, which he perceived as a political move.

Vance dismissed the significance of endorsements from political relatives, suggesting that John McCain would disapprove of the Biden-Harris administration if he were alive.

On Harris’ intention to include a Republican in her cabinet, Vance theorized that she was likely referring to someone like Cheney, who he believes has not been a true Republican for years.

Vance highlighted that Trump’s campaign is supported by a diverse group, including prominent GOP figures like Nikki Haley, Brian Kemp, former independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and ex-Democrat Tulsi Gabbard.

He described their party as “the big tent party of common sense.”

Additionally, Vance is set to meet with conservative media personality Tucker Carlson in Pennsylvania after Carlson faced criticism for hosting podcaster Darryl Cooper.

Cooper had labeled Winston Churchill as the “chief villain” of World War II and minimized Nazi crimes, sparking widespread criticism.

Despite the backlash, Vance praised Carlson’s openness to dialogue and his commitment to free speech.

Vance restated that he would keep voicing his and Trump’s message to the American public while downplaying polling figures to focus instead on the upcoming November election.

“Voters make these decisions, and the poll that I’m worried about is the one in November,” he stated.
