Judge Throws Key Away in Pelosi Case

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – David DePape, the man who attacked Nancy Pelosi’s husband Paul with a hammer, has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.

“It’s my intention that Mr. DePape will never get out of prison. He can never be paroled,” said Judge Harry Dorfman.

DePape is a 43-year-old Canadian former nudist activist who broke into the Pelosis’ San Francisco home in October 2022, allegedly seeking Nancy Pelosi herself.

When he found only her husband Paul at home, he viciously attacked him with a hammer and fractured his skull.

Federal prosecutors demanded a 40-year sentence with a terrorism enhancement due to ideologically motivated violence.

Judge Dorfman stated emphatically that DePape would never be paroled, underscoring the severity of his crimes.

While the mainstream media has focused on portraying DePape as a right-wing extremist, his background and statements paint a more complex picture.

DePape had been deep in fringe conspiracy theories and claimed to be deeply influenced by his former partner, a Bay Area nudism activist named Gypsy Taub.

His lawyers argued that mental health issues and the influence of online propaganda played a role in his actions.

During his sentencing, DePape made rambling statements that 9/11 was an inside job and refused to apologize to the Pelosi family.

He showed no remorse for his actions, instead doubling down on his beliefs. “This is a man who has always been a peaceful, law-abiding person up until his activation,” attorney Adam Lipson said.

The defense tried to portray DePape as a previously peaceful individual who was “activated” by external influences.

Combined with DePape’s existing 30-year federal sentence, the life sentence ensures he will never see the light of day again.
