Manchin Threatens Biden

( – Expressing concerns about Joe Biden’s policies and the direction of the Democratic Party, Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) has put Biden on notice and is talking about a ground-shaking move ahead of the 2024 Presidential Election.

Manchin is considering a possible third-party campaign that stems from his dissatisfaction with what he perceives as Biden’s “leftist first-term governing style.”

In a private gathering in Connecticut, Manchin expressed his intention to meet with Biden soon to urge a shift towards more centrist policies.

He indicated that the potential nomination of Donald Trump by the Republicans could further motivate his decision to run.

Gasparino reported that Manchin believes a plan of action by the No Labels Organization could be in place by Super Tuesday, highlighting the seriousness of his contemplation.

Despite these considerations, Manchin clarified his stance during a conversation with Fox News, emphasizing that he does not aim to be a spoiler in the election.

“Let me just say I have never been a spoiler, nor will I ever be a spoiler on any election,” Manchin said. “If I’m involved, I’m involved to win. But to be a spoiler for the sake of throwing the election one way or the other, I would never do.”

Manchin pointed to Super Tuesday as a critical juncture for any third-party effort. He suggested that the political landscape after Super Tuesday would be crucial in determining his course of action.

He acknowledged the current difficulties both major parties face with their candidates and suggested that the situation could change significantly in the upcoming months.

“I think you start looking after Super Tuesday to find out what the lay of the land is going to be. A lot can change in the next two months. So let’s wait and see,” Manchin added, leaving open the possibility of a third-party run depending on the political dynamics at that time.
