(5MinNewsBreak.com) – President-elect Donald Trump’s border wall plans received a major boost as a federal court stopped the Biden administration’s shocking sale of border wall materials.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton spearheaded the ruling, which prevents the sabotage of Trump’s plans to secure America’s southern border.
The court’s decision has been described as a massive win for those committed to protecting the nation from the ongoing invasion of illegal aliens.
U.S. District Judge Drew B. Tipton will sign an order requiring the government to keep its promise to halt the sale of border wall materials.
This development comes after reports surfaced that these crucial materials were being auctioned off for as little as $5.
Trump filed an amicus brief supporting Texas and Missouri’s legal efforts to stop what he labeled as “possibly criminal” actions by the Biden administration.
The Biden administration’s attempts to dispose of these materials have been ongoing since 2023 after it stopped most border wall construction in 2021.
This blatant disregard for national security did not go unnoticed. Texas and Missouri sought a court status conference to determine if the administration is violating a permanent injunction that prevents using funds for purposes other than wall construction.
Texas then took measures to support the incoming Trump administration’s border security efforts.
The state expressed interest in buying and storing auctioned materials for future use.
Additionally, Texas Land Commissioner Dawn Buckingham criticized the Biden administration’s actions and offered state land to store wall panels for the new administration.
Trump Communications Director Steven Cheung supports the legal action, stating that the Biden administration’s actions are both unlawful and unconstitutional.
Art Del Cueto of the National Border Patrol Council shares Cheung’s point of view.
He hopes the ruling will allow the incoming Trump administration to use the panels for much-needed border protection.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration is trying to justify its actions by citing a fiscal 2024 defense policy bill to manage surplus wall materials.
