Superstar Performer Is In BIG Trouble

In what the legal team has described as an apparent “$50 million” shakedown, a Motown legend is currently in the middle of a massive controversy.

85-year-old Smokey Robinson now faces a criminal investigation following accusations from anonymous housekeepers.

Stunningly, his accusers waited until filing a massive civil lawsuit before reporting anything to police.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department confirmed they have launched an investigation into the sexual assault allegations against Robinson.

Four former housekeepers filed a civil lawsuit seeking $50 million in damages, claiming Robinson sexually assaulted and r***d them between 2006 and 2024 at his California residences.

Robinson’s attorney, Christopher Frost, firmly denied all allegations, calling them “vile, false…an ugly method of trying to extract money from an 85-year-old American icon – $50m, to be exact.”

Frost pointed out a suspicious timeline that may indicate a money grab rather than a legitimate complaint.

Frost noted: “We are aware that a police report has now been filed by the Plaintiffs in the civil lawsuit. It is clear to us what is happening here. Plaintiffs filed a police report only after they filed a $50 million lawsuit.”

He added, “This means only that the police are now required to investigate. We welcome that investigation, which involves Plaintiffs who continue to hide their identities, because exposure to the truth is a powerful thing.”

The anonymous accusers’ lawsuit claims Robinson was a “serial and sick r***st” and alleges his wife Frances created and maintained a toxic work environment.

Beyond the alleged sexual misconduct, the couple is accused of labor violations, including failure to pay minimum wage and overtime.

One accuser, identified only as Jane Doe 1, claims she was assaulted at least seven times.

The Sheriff’s Department acknowledged the case is “in the early stages,” offering no further details.

The carefully worded statement noted:

“The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau is actively investigating criminal allegations involving William Robinson aka ‘Smokey Robinson.’ The investigation is in the early stages, and we have no further comment.”

The timing of these allegations has raised eyebrows among Robinson’s supporters.

The legendary singer, who recently released an album titled “What the World Needs Now” and is currently on tour, has maintained his innocence throughout this ordeal.

The lawsuit, which includes charges of sexual battery, assault, negligence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, gender violence, and labor code violations, appears designed to maximize financial damages.

The decision by the accusers to remain anonymous while demanding $50 million from a public figure has only fueled skepticism about their claims.

Robinson’s legal team has expressed confidence that their client will be exonerated once all facts come to light.

The 85-year-old Motown star is known for hits with the Miracles and writing classics like “My Girl.”

He continues to perform despite these allegations, with upcoming UK tour dates planned for July.
