They ‘Incited Dangerous People To Do Dangerous Things’!?

Red emergency light flashing on a red background.

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – After two alarming assassination attempts, House Speaker Mike Johnson has bravely called out Democrats for their dangerous rhetoric against GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

In a recent interview with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, Speaker Johnson pulled no punches when addressing the inflammatory language used by high-ranking Democrats against Trump.

He pointed out that their portrayal of the former president as a “threat to democracy” is not only unnecessary but potentially dangerous.

“We need everybody on all sides to turn the rhetoric down and let’s have a debate about the records of these candidates, not the rhetoric,” Johnson stated firmly.

He emphasized the importance of focusing on policy debates rather than engaging in personal attacks and suggested that the Democrats’ messaging had “incited dangerous people to do dangerous things.”

The Speaker’s comments come in the wake of a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, where the former president narrowly escaped an assassination attempt.

“I don’t think they’re saying that the Democratic Party tried an assassination attempt. I think what they’re alluding to is what they’ve all been saying. They have got to turn the rhetoric down,” Johnson explained, addressing recent comments made by Eric Trump at the rally.

Johnson highlighted the hypocrisy of the media and Democrats who seem more interested in playing “gotcha games” than addressing pressing national issues.

When pressed about the 2020 election, Johnson redirected the conversation to more crucial matters affecting Americans today.

“Let’s talk about the policies, not the personalities,” Johnson urged, showcasing his commitment to tackling real problems like the economy, crime rates and border security rather than revisiting past disputes.

The Speaker’s refusal to engage in the left’s divisive tactics is a refreshing change in Washington.

He pointed out that Democrats have been openly attacking Trump since 2016, creating a hostile political environment that serves no one but their own interests.

“I could give you pages and pages of crazy comments by the leading Democrats in this country. That’s not what this is about.” Johnson stated.

As the next election approaches, Speaker Johnson’s call to focus on policies rather than personalities is more crucial than ever.
