Trump Dominating

Donald Trump

( – In a striking turn of events demonstrating a formidable lead in seven critical battleground states over Joe Biden, Former President Donald Trump is setting the stage for a 2024 presidential election showdown.

A recent Morning Consult/Bloomberg poll reveals that Trump is ahead of Biden by a margin of 47% to 42% across Arizona, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and North Carolina. This lead is particularly noteworthy in North Carolina and Georgia, where Trump leads by 9 and 6 points, respectively. The narrowest lead is observed in Pennsylvania, with a 2-point advantage for Trump.

The poll further illustrates Trump’s strength in key states, with a 4-point lead in Arizona, Wisconsin, and Michigan, and a 3-point advantage in Nevada. Trump’s campaign spokesman, Steven Cheung, confidently stated to the Daily Caller News Foundation, “President Trump is dominating every single poll both in the primary and general.” Cheung emphasized the need for unity behind Trump, suggesting that any resources spent elsewhere only serve to bolster Biden’s campaign.

Reflecting on Trump’s electoral history, he won these battleground states in 2016 against Hillary Clinton, with the exception of losing them to Biden in 2020, except for North Carolina. Nevada has consistently remained in the Democratic column.

Interestingly, when independent candidates are considered, Trump’s lead over Biden expands to 7 points across these states. The support for independent candidates like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. (9%), Cornel West (2%), and Green Party’s Jill Stein (1%) adds a dynamic layer to the political landscape.

Recent state-specific surveys reinforce Trump’s advantageous position. For instance, a CNN/SSRS poll shows Trump leading in Michigan by 10 points and in Georgia by 5 points. The RealClearPolitics average also places Trump ahead nationally by 2.3 points in a period spanning from November 8 to December 12.

In the race for the 2024 presidential nominations, both Trump and Biden lead their respective parties significantly, with Trump ahead by nearly 48 points and Biden by almost 60 points, as indicated by the latest polling data.

The comprehensive Morning Consult/Bloomberg survey, conducted between November 27 and December 6, polled 4,925 registered voters across the seven swing states, with varying margins of error ranging from 1% to 5% depending on the state.

Notably, the Biden campaign has not yet responded to the media’s request for comment on these developments.
