Trump FBI Pick ATTACKED!

Donald Trump speaks at a podium.

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – In a shocking twist, President-elect Donald Trump’s choice for FBI Director Kash Patel has fallen victim to a cyber-attack believed to be orchestrated by Iran.

This brazen assault on a key Trump ally underscores the urgent need to protect America’s national security and election integrity from foreign threats.

Patel, a long-time supporter of Trump who held various roles in his first administration, was recently announced as Trump’s pick to lead the FBI after plans to dismiss current FBI director Christopher Wray.

Trump transition spokesman Alex Pfeiffer emphasized Patel’s qualifications, stating, “Kash Patel was a key part of the first Trump administration’s efforts against the terrorist Iranian regime and will implement President Trump’s policies to protect America from adversaries as the FBI Director.”

The attack on Patel is part of a larger pattern targeting Trump’s inner circle. Iranian hackers have reportedly targeted Roger Stone, attorney Lindsey Halligan, and even Donald Trump Jr..

The FBI has warned of Iranian cyber operations aimed at accessing sensitive U.S. election information and compromising Trump’s campaign.

Despite Tehran’s denials, the evidence points to a concerted effort by Iran to meddle in American affairs.

Microsoft and Google have reported increased Iranian efforts to influence the U.S. presidential election through phishing attacks, further highlighting the gravity of this threat.

Moreover, three Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps members were indicted for their involvement in a cyber campaign against U.S. officials.

The attack on Patel follows a previous hack on Trump’s campaign in August, also attributed to Iranians by the FBI.

In that incident, hacked emails containing non-public material from Trump’s campaign were distributed to Democrat party officials, raising questions about potential collusion between foreign adversaries and political opponents.

The Department of Justice (DOJ) has stated that these hacking attempts are part of Iran’s strategy to create discord and gather information on U.S. officials.
