Trump: Fire Them – Fire All of Them!

Donald Trump, points while speaking.

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – Demanding accountability for the deaths of American patriots and the loss of billions in equipment, President Donald Trump has issued a simple instruction: fire all of them.

During a Cabinet meeting, the president urged Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth to dismiss military leadership responsible for the botched Afghanistan withdrawal that left Americans stranded, equipment abandoned, and 13 service members dead.

Speaking at the White House Cabinet meeting, President Trump made his position clear on what many Americans view as one of the most humiliating military failures in recent history.

The president did not mince words when addressing Hegseth about the generals who oversaw the chaotic 2021 pullout that handed Afghanistan back to Taliban control.

“I’m not going to tell this man what to do but I will say that if I had his place, I’d fire every single one of them, Pete,” Trump stated during the meeting, pointing to significant leadership failures that led to the catastrophic withdrawal.

The exit from Afghanistan left a trail of disaster that continues to haunt America.

Under Joe Biden’s watch, the military abandoned billions of dollars worth of equipment to Taliban forces, left American citizens and allies stranded behind enemy lines, and suffered the tragic loss of 13 service members in a bombing at Abbey Gate.

President Trump made it clear that those responsible should be held accountable.

Hegseth, a combat veteran himself, assured the president that his department is conducting a thorough review of the withdrawal.

“We’re taking a very different view, obviously, than the previous administration,” Hegseth stated, signaling a significant shift from Biden-era policies that seemed to protect those responsible for the military failure.

President Trump indicated he expects most of the generals involved to be “largely gone” after Hegseth’s review is complete.

The president also made it clear these officers should not expect promotions under his administration.

“I think they should give our equipment back. And I told Pete to study that,” President Trump said, addressing the billions in military hardware now in Taliban hands.

The president noted that Taliban forces are profiting by selling abandoned American military equipment.

This development represents not just a strategic failure but a financial windfall for America’s enemies.

This equipment includes aircraft, vehicles, weapons, and other military assets that American taxpayers funded.

President Trump has already begun restructuring military leadership, nominating retired Air Force Lt. Gen. John Dan “Razin” Caine as chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

This appointment signals the Trump administration’s commitment to installing leadership that will prioritize American military strength and accountability.

The president’s call for accountability comes as many military families and veterans have demanded justice for what they view as an inexcusable failure of leadership.

The Afghanistan withdrawal not only damaged America’s global standing but left many servicemembers questioning the competence of their senior leadership.

Hegseth’s “full accountability” review represents the first serious attempt by the government to hold military leaders responsible for the Afghanistan debacle.
