Trump to Biden: ‘Anytime, Anywhere, Anyplace!’

(5MinNewsBreak.com) – Following his decision to forgo addressing a band of contenders ganging up on him, former President Donald Trump has challenged Joe Biden to a direct debate as they prepare for a potential electoral rematch this November.

In a public post on Truth Social, Trump expressed the importance of such a debate for the nation’s welfare and emphasized the critical issues facing America and its citizens.

“It is important, for the Good of our Country, that Joe Biden and I Debate Issues that are so vital to America, and the American People. Therefore, I am calling for Debates, ANYTIME, ANYWHERE, ANYPLACE!” Trump stated.

He even suggested that the debates could be organized by the Democratic National Committee (DNC) or the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD), both of which he criticized. Trump expressed eagerness for a response to his proposal and highlighted his readiness to engage.

This call for debates follows former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley’s announcement halting her presidential campaign after trailing significantly behind Trump in the primary races and Super Tuesday.

Despite leading the Republican primary field, Trump abstained from participating in any debates since his substantial lead in the polls was evidence of his dominance over his Republican adversaries.

In previous statements, Trump has voiced his anticipation of debating Biden and suggested having as many as ten debates. He argues that the leading candidates of both parties have a fundamental duty to engage in such discussions.

Reacting to Trump’s eagerness for a debate, Biden mocked Trump’s perceived ample free time and expressed his own lack of interest in engaging.

The Biden campaign, through its communications director Michael Tyler, played down Trump’s debate challenge as a mere plea for attention, saying that Trump’s eagerness to confront Biden could be temporarily satisfied by watching the upcoming State of the Union address, saying the former president could learn some things from Biden.
