(5MinNewsBreak.com) – Prompting urgent calls for a state of emergency, nearly 50 mysterious drone sightings in New Jersey skies in a single night have alarmed residents and officials.

Republican State Senator Jon Bramnick demanded action to protect American safety and privacy.

New Jersey’s skies are under siege from a never-before-seen wave of drone activity, leaving citizens and lawmakers demanding answers.

Since mid-November, unidentified drones have been spotted in at least ten counties across the Garden State and parts of New York City, raising serious national security and personal privacy concerns.

The situation has escalated to such an extent that Bramnick has called for a “limited state of emergency” to ban all drone operations until the public receives an explanation.

This bold move comes as frustration mounts over the lack of answers from federal agencies.

“The State of New Jersey should issue a limited state of emergency banning all drones until the public receives an explanation regarding these multiple sightings,” declared Bramnick.

Nearly 50 drone sightings were reported across the state in a single weekend night. Even more alarming, eleven drones have been spotted near Picatinny Arsenal, a critical Army facility in Morris County, since November 13.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has temporarily banned drone flights over President-elect Donald Trump’s New Jersey golf course and Picatinny Arsenal due the potential security risks.

Despite the clear and present danger, the FBI has been unable to identify the source or destination of these drones.

The lack of answers has left many to question the effectiveness of American intelligence agencies under the current administration.

Even more concerning, some officials have suggested that the drones might be coming from an Iranian ‘mothership’ off the East Coast, a claim the Pentagon suspiciously rushed to deny.

“I join thousands of New Jersey residents in deep frustration regarding the growing concerns over drones operating in our skies. The safety and privacy of our residents must be a top priority, and right now, both are being put at risk,” stated Rep. Thomas Kean Jr.

Meanwhile, Governor Phil Murphy’s administration claims to be “investigating” the issue and discussing it with the Department of Homeland Security.
