Even the rich and famous cannot escape the lawlessness gripping California as Brad Pitt has become the latest entry in the long list of crime victims.

The actor’s Los Angeles mansion was ransacked by burglars who scaled his fence and smashed through a window while the star was away promoting his new film.

The Los Feliz neighborhood break-in highlights the growing crime wave targeting celebrity homes across the state.

Three suspects broke into Pitt’s multi-million dollar residence, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The burglars jumped over a perimeter fence before breaking through a front window to gain entry.

Pitt reportedly purchased the property on the 2300 block of Edgemont Street for $5.5 million in April 2023.

Fortunately for the 60-year-old actor, he was not home during the invasion as he is currently on a promotional tour for “F1: The Movie,” which hits theaters today.

The LAPD responded to an alarm call at the property and discovered the break-in, but the suspects had already fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of stolen items.

This disturbing incident is not isolated. Pitt joins a growing list of Hollywood elites who have fallen victim to home invasions in recent months.

His ex-wife Jennifer Aniston recently experienced a criminal intrusion when a man named Jimmy Wayne Carwyle rammed through the gates of her Bel Air home, resulting in felony vandalism charges.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s Los Angeles residence was broken into on Valentine’s Day.

Tyler Perry’s property was targeted by intruders who were only stopped by security using thermal imaging technology.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s home was similarly targeted, though their alarm system prevented entry.

Law enforcement officials are reviewing surveillance footage and searching for the perpetrators, but no arrests have been made to date.

It remains unclear whether Pitt was specifically targeted or if this was simply another random burglary of a high-value home in the increasingly crime-ridden Los Angeles area.

The concerning rise in celebrity home invasions comes as California continues to struggle with soft-on-crime policies that have emboldened criminals.

Many commentators have pointed to progressive district attorneys and lenient bail reforms as contributing factors to the state’s growing crime problem.

As police continue their investigation, representatives for Pitt have yet to comment on the incident.

The actor is likely focused on his racing film, directed by Joseph Kosinski, in which he portrays a retired driver mentoring a younger racer.
