Revealing her true agenda of opposing relief for hardworking Americans, far-left Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez revolted against tax-free tips.

The radical congresswoman’s tirade against President Donald Trump’s “No Tax on Tips” plan exposes how Democrats loathe allowing service workers to keep more of their hard-earned money.
AOC launched her scathing attack on President Trump’s “Big Beautiful Bill” during a House floor speech.
The Squad member specifically targeted the $25,000 cap on the “no tax on tips” provision that was included in the Senate-approved version of the tax and spending bill, calling it a “scam” and a “deal with the devil.”
Invoking her past experience as a bartender, AOC attempted to position herself as a champion for service workers while simultaneously advocating against their tax relief.
“As one of the only people in this body who has lived off of tips, I want to tell you a little bit about the scam of that text, a little bit of the fine print there,” Ocasio-Cortez declared during her theatrical floor performance.
What AOC failed to mention is that President Trump’s plan would allow millions of hardworking servers, bartenders, valets, and other service industry workers to keep more of their own money.
The congresswoman’s true priorities were on full display as she refused to support tax relief:
“The cap on that is $25,000, while you’re jacking up taxes on people who make less than $50,000 across the United States, while taking away their [Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program] program, while taking away their Medicaid, while kicking them off of the [Affordable Care Act] and their health care extensions.
“So, if you’re at home, and you’re living off tips, you do the math. Is that worth it to you — losing all your health care, not able to feed your babies, not being able to put a diaper on their bottom? In exchange for what?
“This bill is a deal with the devil. It explodes our national debt, it militarizes our entire economy, and it strips away health care and basic dignity of the American people for what? To give Elon Musk a tax break and billionaires the greedy taking of our nation? We cannot stand for it, and we will not support it.”
As usual, AOC resorted to class warfare tactics and personal attacks during her speech.
The congresswoman’s outburst was so inflammatory that House Speaker Pro Tempore Mike Simpson had to formally rebuke her.
Her emotional tirade even included shouting “You should be ashamed” at her Republican colleagues who are working to pass the bill.
Meanwhile, Speaker Mike Johnson continues working to unite House Republicans to pass this important legislation before the July 4 deadline.
The bill would provide substantial tax relief to millions of service workers while also implementing necessary reforms to programs that have ballooned under Democrat control.
The tax breaks would provide immediate relief while longer-term solutions to America’s debt and spending problems are developed.
Despite AOC’s theatrical opposition, the Senate has already approved the measure, and House Republicans appear poised to deliver this important victory for American workers.
