Musk Slams Trump – It’s ‘DEBT SLAVERY’!

Completely shattering what used to be a strong alliance, Elon Musk has declared war on President Donald Trump’s “DEBT SLAVERY Bill.”

Once the president’s strongest ally by pouring $290 million into Republican campaigns, Musk has come out as one of the administration’s biggest critics.

Musk has threatened to destroy the careers of any Republican who supports what he calls a “disgusting abomination” that would saddle Americans with $5 trillion in new debt.

The Tesla and SpaceX CEO has condemned the massive tax-and-spending bill being pushed through Congress.

Musk did not mince words when criticizing the legislation, dubbing it the “DEBT SLAVERY bill” and accusing lawmakers of betraying fiscal conservative principles.

Musk wrote on his X platform:

“It is obvious with the insane spending of this bill, which increases the debt ceiling by a record FIVE TRILLION DOLLARS that we live in a one-party country — the PORKY PIG PARTY!! Time for a new political party that actually cares about the people.”

Musk’s criticism began during his tenure as head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) under the Trump administration.

The billionaire entrepreneur has taken particular aim at the Freedom Caucus, questioning their commitment to their stated principles.

“How can you call yourself the Freedom Caucus if you vote for a DEBT SLAVERY bill with the biggest debt ceiling increase in history?” Musk wrote.

According to the Congressional Budget Office, the Senate’s version of the bill would increase the deficit by $3.3 trillion between 2025 and 2034.

The legislation also includes provisions that would harm Musk’s business interests, including the repeal of subsidies for wind and solar projects after 2027, while creating new tax incentives for coal production.

Musk has specifically called out House Republicans Andy Harris and Chip Roy for not opposing the bill and has made a serious threat to any lawmaker who supports the legislation.

“Every member of Congress who campaigned on reducing government spending and then immediately voted for the biggest debt increase in history should hang their head in shame!” Musk said.

“And they will lose their primary next year if it is the last thing I do on this Earth,” he added.

The feud between Musk and President Trump has escalated publicly, with the president attempting to downplay the conflict:

“I think he’s a wonderful guy. I haven’t spoken to him much, but I think Elon is a wonderful guy, and I know he’s going to do well always. He’s a smart guy. And he actually went and campaigned with me and this and that. But he got a little bit upset, and that wasn’t appropriate.”

President Trump also acknowledged that his policies might hurt Musk’s business interests.

“Look, the electric vehicle mandate, the EV mandate, is a tough thing for him. I would, you know, I don’t want everybody to have an electric car,” the president stated.

“You know, I campaigned on choice — you have — choice… not everybody should have that and not everybody wants that,” he continued.

Senate Majority Leader John Thune and OMB Director Russell Vought have attempted to refute Musk’s claims, insisting the bill does not affect discretionary spending targeted by DOGE.

But Musk is not backing down and is now openly discussing the formation of a new “America Party” as an alternative to the current political system.

With his vast resources and influence, Musk’s threats could significantly impact House Republicans in particular, where campaign financing plays a crucial role in elections.
