(5MinNewsBreak.com) – In recent declarations, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) commended legislative and political efforts to advance a crucial bill in the House.
He praised former President Donald Trump for endorsing House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) and the legislative package marked for supporting Ukraine’s conflict against Russia.

In a sequence of votes that unfolded late last week, the House voted on several aid propositions:
- $60 billion for Ukraine
- about $17 billion for Israel
- $9 billion for humanitarian endeavors
- $8 billion in assistance for Taiwan
Additionally, a bill set to ban TikTok unless it divested from Chinese ownership received approval.
During a “Fox News Sunday” interview, Graham remarked, “This idea, give up on Ukraine makes the world safer, if you pull the plug on Ukraine because you don’t have enough capability, there goes Taiwan.”
He elaborated on the strong resistance put up by Ukrainians, noting, “Ukrainians are fighting like tigers. This aid package has a loan component to it. This would not have passed without Donald Trump.”
“I want to thank the House Speaker and Hakeem Jeffries working together in a bipartisan fashion, to give weapons to Ukraine to fight a fight that matters to us,” he added.
Graham further emphasized, “And President Trump has created a loan component to this package that gives us leverage down the road.”
“So this idea that we can’t help Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan at the same time, I reject that. I reject it totally,” he concluded.
